Brand Naming & Tone of Voice Development
Agriculture is pivotal in climate change – it is as much a cause of climate issues as it is affected by it. Working closely with Nick Vincent at Vincent Design, I led the naming process for a consortium made up of Rothamsted Research and Societe General, designed to drive change through a combination of agricultural research and entrepreneurial expertise. We started by defining the brand values, personality and tone of voice. Following a robust process that explored a number of territories, the resulting name – Shake Climate Change – was chosen because it captured the need to rapidly shake things up as climate change becomes climate crisis.
